I have been working with people from multiple backgrounds and age groups for a number of years. Every person and group I have worked with has taught me so much about life and myself and has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
My own journey in life was a tumultuous one with many different roads and stops along the way. I have learned from all my experiences and it has helped build the person that I am today. What I have come to realize is that we are so much stronger than labels and it is impossible to define the complexities of any single person. Every person is a story and has so much depth and insight if you just have the courage and patience to listen. I have also learned that feeling healed and whole is attainable.
Healing is not always so easy and having the courage to confront problems and things that we think about ourselves is hard. It opens us up and can leave a person feeling incredibly vulnerable. That is why having someone to talk to that is honest and appreciates you and your journey can be so helpful.
My commitment to you is that I am always calm and present during our sessions. I will appreciate you and your journey and look forward to being there with you every step of the way.
I have a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. I utilize a number of different modalities including IFS, CBT, DBT and ACT. I am continuously learning and taking trainings to ensure that I am current with all the latest research.
