About Me
At first, my desire to enter this field came from a simple wish to help people. Over time it became something more personal. I began doing my own inner work — exploring my own patterns, my own protective parts, my own places of stuckness — and it changed the way I understand myself and everyone I sit with. My work today is less about directing someone toward change and more about walking beside them as they find their own way there.
I have always been drawn to looking at things on a deeper level. Along the way I came to believe that without understanding ourselves, our attempts to understand anything else stay incomplete. Our inner world shapes how we relate to others, how we make decisions, and how we find meaning. There is nothing more rewarding to me than witnessing someone move from feeling closed off or disconnected to feeling grounded, open, and at home in themselves.
My own path through life was not a straight one — many roads, many stops along the way. What I learned from all of it is that we are so much stronger than the labels we carry, and that it's impossible to capture the full complexity of any one person in a diagnosis or a category. Every person is a story, with more depth and insight than first appears, if you have the patience and the courage to listen. I've also learned, firsthand, that feeling healed and whole is attainable.
Healing isn't always easy. Having the courage to face the things we'd rather not look at can leave us feeling exposed and vulnerable. That's exactly why having someone present, honest, and genuinely on your side matters so much. My commitment to you is to be calm and fully present in our work, to honor your story and your pace, and to be there with you every step of the way.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I am Level 1 IFS (Internal Family Systems) trained, and IFS is the foundation of how I work — though over years of practice I've developed my own approach that grows out of it. I'm continually learning and training to stay current with the work.
